Looking for neutral and natural home décor ideas? Today, I've rounded up some of my favourite natural and neutral Autumn home accessories. I know, it's not even the middle of August yet but when your summer has already cooled off, you can't help but think of cosying up! Isn't that what Autumn is all about? Cosy, warm tones, textures and for me, soft neutrals. Getting ahead of the crowd is not a bad thing either, you know the best stuff will be gone if you leave it too late – I've learned my lesson there!
Mix & match with neutral and natural home décor
You can't go wrong with neutral and natural home décor. It transitions so well, you just need to change out an accent colour and you have a completely new look for each season!
Autumn Accent Colours
At this time of year, accent colours like burnt orange, dark greens, russet, gold, black and bronze take the stage. Accent colours won't look overwhelming if you decorate with mostly neutral and natural home décor. Use the same accent colour throughout your home for a cohesive look.
I've scoured the web and picked out some of this season's best neutral and natural home décor pieces. I'm loving all the gorgeous textures and textiles I've found.
Dried Flowers and Grasses
It's no surprise that dried flowers and grasses are popular again this season. I added a few of my favourites to my neutral and natural home décor picks. If you saw my Summer Home Tour, you will have seen how I used Bunny Tail Grass in my decorations. I loved it so much that I started to grow my own this year too. In my blog post 'Easy ways to decorate your home for summer,' I also show you how I made all of my summer decorations.
I use dried Pampas Grass as an accent piece in my neutral and natural home décor. The tall stems look gorgeous displayed in a large rustic floor vase in the dining room.

Neutral and natural home décor prints
Give a nod to the season by changing out a few of your wall art pieces here and there. There is so much beautiful wall art out there, it's hard to make a choice. That's why it's sometimes easier to choose sets that are collated for you. With wall art sets, you already know that the pieces are going to look good together.
I have a great post about creating a gallery wall from scratch if you are interested in doing that.

There are some lovely things here - I love the rattan pumpkin best of all. I've been trying to get in the mood for spring but it just isn't happening, even though the plants are telling me different.

I know what you mean Carol. Since I wrote this post, our weather has changed from constant rain to hot and sunny, then it's hard to think of Autumn!

Those are all beautiful choices. I especially like the rattan pumpkin you found.

Thanks, Marie! I love that rattan pumpkin too!
