Here's how to make your office more sustainable
Lighting
The 'Cohen' lamp. This has been on my radar ever since I started renovating my tiny office. It's made from smooth metal and wood and comes in two colours. I have the white and natural oak, desk model but there are various wall-mounted or floor-standing versions too. Let me tell you, it's just as gorgeous in real life as it looks on the web! Mainly, I use it as a task lamp for when I'm working at my computer but it also doubles as a photography lamp when I shine it through a lightbox. The adjustable neck and stem make this lamp a flexible option for any home office.
There were two alternatives on my list which were just as gorgeous – to be honest, it was hard to choose between them all. In the end, I felt the 'Cohen' lamp fitted best with my office set-up. Here are the other two:
The 'Takio' in charcoal grey and copper is stunning.
The 'Tyron' table lamp in grey and copper.
Both of these lamps have a bit of an industrial vibe going on and are proof that necessities can be stylish and glamorous too.

One of these stylish, space-optimizing cable holders will solve that problem once and for all. This one is handmade from natural oak. Use it horizontally or vertically or fix it to any surface with the pieces of strong, double-sided tape included. It's finished with eco-friendly, non-toxic hard wax-oil (which is what I used, to finish my custom desk). You can find more cable organisers here.
