Posts for Autumn home décor finds are popping up all over Pinterest already so I thought I'd better get my skates on and start shopping around for my Autumn home décor before all the best picks get snapped up. Don't worry, there's still lots to choose from for now because we're getting in early and preparing for Fall before the Autumn home décor isles are all sold out.

For me, there's nothing better than walking into a home and instantly feeling a sense of warmth and comfort. If it feels like your home is wrapping its arms around you in a big bear hug, then you've certainly done a fantastic job of creating a haven and refuge from the world outside the door!

Favourite Autumn Home Decor Finds

Tell me, which camp are you in? The, OK, Summer's over let's start cosying up for Autumn Fall camp? Or the, I'm still enjoying the rays don't talk to me about pumpkins and spice camp?

Until last week, I was in camp #2 because the weather was so lovely here. Now though, it's turned a little cooler, we've had some rain and there is a mist over the lake in the early mornings.

Mist on the lake means the season is turning.

Of course, my mind immediately switches to how I'm going to style my home for Autumn and sourcing some gorgeous Autumn home décor finds.

I've been sourcing accessories and making cosy Autumn moodboards, it doesn't take much to get me in the mood for cosying up for Fall!

Autumn home decor finds - lanterns

Look at these gorgeous lanterns. Every home needs twinkly lights for Autumn. I just bought a very similar lantern to this one. It's standing proudly outside our door as I write. I added a tall white church candle and filled out the bottom with some decorative white stones so that it doesn't get blown over by the Autumn winds.

This natural seagrass basket is ready and willing to display your coffee table vignette or just lots of Pumpkin Spice Lattes if that's more your thing! I have a very similar one to this, it's so easy to style for all seasons.

This is so much like my Autumn leaf, carved wooden bowl. I fill mine up with natural Autumn goodies like acorns, pine cones and of course some seedheads! Don't you just love this? It's one of the rugs that has made it to my shortlist for our lounge. It's made of wool so I imagine it's lovely and soft underfoot. I can't decide between this or a natural fibre rug - I love this so much though! Will it make it to my cart? We'll see!

Looking to get cosy? This throw blanket is just perfect for Autumn. It's not heavy looking so it will be great for transitioning from Summer to Autumn and it will even look good at Christmastime.

Autumn home decor finds - Feathers

You can do so much with Pheasant tail feathers.

Add them to wreaths with dried grasses and hang them on the door or wall.

Make a table wreath with them and add some votives and candles in varying sizes to the centre.

Display them in a lovely glass vase or bottle.

Combine them with fresh evergreens and take your display through until Christmas. Then, use them again at Easter!
