17 Christmas home décor finds for 2020

My Christmas home décor finds have surprised me this year. I have to say, I'm not normally one to go for gold as they say but this year, for some reason, I feel drawn to warm golden tones. That's not to say, I've given up on my neutrals, oh no! There are plenty of neutral tones amongst my Christmas home décor finds this year and gold complements them perfectly.

I thought I'd learned my lesson when it came to shopping for Christmas décor but somehow I got caught out again this year.

I usually start shopping too late so that everything I want is already gone. You know how the shops start putting out Christmas décor in October these days? Well, I'm like, "Yeah, yeah, I'll get back to you when it's December". There are always so many other things to get done. Like make my Advent wreaths and shop for the boys and by the time I go back in December, everything I want is gone, gone, gone!

So, I thought I was pretty smart this year. When the Christmas holiday shops started showing up, I went in for a quick look. There was this fabulous faux garland which looked so real. I made a mental note to go back in the very next week (I mean it was October after all........October!) and get that lovely garland.

The next week I went back and guess what? Yup, G.O.N.E.! I couldn't believe it! I mean seriously, who buys their Christmas decorations in October? Well, whoever it was, they got my garland and me? I ended up empty-handed again!

That's when I decided, online is where it's at for me this year. You can always get everything online. Unless you leave it all until December, then you're done for because all those lovely Christmas decorations will be offline by then. In December, all of the Christmas decorations will be swept from the shop to make room for Easter! That's how it is these days. We either have to get with it or go home empty-handed.

These are my lovely Christmas home décor finds. I thought I would share them with you in case you haven't had time to browse yet.

You can thank me later!

Between you and me, I thought they would be a bit of pain to clean afterwards but they aren't. The trick is to use one of these scrubbing brushes, they work like a charm!
